Remember the retainer? The one that we went dumpster diving for? Yes, that's the one. Well, it met a sad ending. The day Parker had his last Orthodontic appointment he took it out of his mouth on the way home to eat something. Sadly, it never made it back into his mouth and it fell onto the driveway when he got out of the car. He didn't realize that this is what happened and we ended up turning the house upside down looking for it. We cleaned his room top to bottom, vacuumed the couches (scary!) and looked under every piece of furniture in the house. Needless to say we didn't find it because it had been run over on the driveway! The bonus was my house got a great cleaning, down side is that those things are $100 a piece! I keep asking the orthodontist if he does a buy two get one free program, but he just won't get on board with that idea!
