Pioneer Girl
This summer Casadie decided to volunteer at the Jensen Historical Farm. This is a 1917-era working farm. As part of the experience for people who visit the farm, all of the people are attired in clothing resembling clothing from the early 1900's. At the farm she learned to milk cows, do laundry, make butter, quilt and host tea parties. She also spent time weeding (she hates doing this at home) and cooking for other workers on the farm. The farm is worked almost completely by volunteers. We are really proud of her hard work and dedication. She worked once a week for 6 hours a day for the entire summer. Some days she came home hot and completely exhausted but excited to tell us about the things she had done that day. Doesn't she look cute!!!

I've always wanted to do that! Jason said it would be better than trying to make my own farm at our house. Do you think?
