OK, it was my turn this year and I celebrated the big 4 - 0! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think the fact that Brett is older than me and I get to see him go through everything before me makes it a little easier! It was a really fun birthday! Brett through me a surprise party and we had a Luau at the lake with friends. It was really fun and very sweet! On my birthday we had Nicole and Jake up for dinner and cake. It's fun to have them around for all the birthdays.

You're 40?? ;) In my opinion once you're over 30 the number's don't matter anymore and I don't think the brain ages very well because I still think I'm 20 but my body tells me I'm not!! It sounds like you had a great birthday! A luau at the lake? That's so cool! High 5 Brett! Those flower cookies look delicious to eat! Happy Birthday!!
